Green Island Discovery
Just 27 km and a fast catamaran journey from Cairns, you’ll find yourself on Green Island - a beautiful 6000 year old coral cay in the Great Barrier Reef. Delegates to make their own way to/from terminal - 10 min walk from most hotels.
Depart: Green Island DISCOVERY from Reef Fleet Terminal Cairns. (1 Spence Street in Cairns)
Departure Time: 8.30am
Includes: Morning tea/coffee on board, snorkelling equipment, glass bottom boat tour, use of island swimming pool, self-guided eco island walk, use of day visitor facilities, beach bag.

Discover the Daintree
Explore Australia’s ancient tropical rainforest - millions of years in the making.
Travel to the picturesque mountain village of Kuranda by the world famous Kuranda scenic railway with original timber carriages over 100 years old. Experience the incredible scenery as the train winds its way through World Class Heritage listed rainforest.
In Kuranda, you will have time to explore this colourful village at your leisure, whether by strolling through the Kuranda Markets, exploring the rainforest walks and attractions, or experiencing Birdworld Kuranda or Kuranda Koala Gardens.
Travel back via the 7.5km scenic tourist cableway running above the Barron Gorge National Park, a world heritage listed wet tropics rainforest and home to the oldest continually surviving tropical rainforest on earth. By gliding above the pristine rainforest canopy and exploring the rainforest floor on environmentally sensitive pathways, guests can fully immerse themselves in their rainforest experience without leaving even a footprint behind.
Delegates to make their own way to the Cairns railway station, which has a dedicated platform for the Kuranda Railway. Cairns railway station is situated in the heart of Cairns a short walk from the CBD and is within easy walking distance of most city accommodations.
Departure time: 8.30am
Arrive to Kuranda: 10.30am
If you would like to be back at Cairns by 2.30pm we would suggest you take the 12pm Skyrail back to the Smithfield terminal where the Skyrail trip concludes. (6 Skyrail Drive, Smithfield). From here please make your own way back to Cairns using transport such as Uber - approx 15 minute drive. Alternatively please make your own arrangements from Kuranda back to Cairns at your leisure.
